The first thing most people ask me is "What does Ikaika mean?" Ikaika (pronounced EE-KY-KA) is Hawaiian meaning "Strong of body, Strong of mind" and although I might not look too Hawaiian I was born on the Big Island and Ikaika is my middle name. 

I've always been creative but after I graduated from college I found myself behind a desk as a project engineer for four years.  I wasn't happy and knew something needed to change.  I started creating my unique and very distinctive artwork and realized that art was my true passion in life.  Through unique stencils, textures, and spray paint I express my creativity.  The process of layering creates depth and allows the art to jump off the canvas. 

I am determined to pursue my passion throughout life and have realized that being happy in life is worth much more then a paycheck.
